Priestpopple Painters(formerly The Pudding Parlour, Fore Street)

It is now 2018 and a big thank you to Reid Birkett for offering the Fore Street shop to Hexham Spaces for our Charity work. An empty shop is always a sad sight and our Hexham Spaces project breathes colour, vitality and interest into these empty shop windows, to help encourage future use.

On a blustery day in February (but, happily, no snow) Priestpopple Painters arrived en masse. In the blink of an eye, the shop was transformed into an eclectic and charming art gallery. Thank you to everyone who helped and congratulations on your first exhibition.

Here today, gone tomorrow but not quite!!
A hasty retreat to St. Mary’s Chare, with the help of two shopping trolleys (thank you Iceland) by the ever cheerful and patient Priestpopple Painters, after only just one week in the Fore Street shop. A special thank you to Reid Birkett, from Hexham Spaces, for all your help. The Fore Street shop hopefully may have a new use in the very near future.
