Hexham Abbey Festival (formerly Woolaballoo, Market Place)
Once again, many thanks to all at Foster Maddison and, of course, the landlord for the opportunity to promote Hexham Abbey Festival which is celebrating its 67th year. The charming display was achieved in record time - just as the sun was setting on another lovely day in Hexham
Patricia Graham, Hexham Spaces
Hexham Abbey Festival of Music and Arts were delighted last August when we were approached by Hexham Spaces offering us the opportunity to advertise our festival programme for September 2019 in one of the empty shop premises in the town.
Following a meeting with Patricia Graham we were able to secure space in the former Woolaballoo shop which was ideal and provided us with plenty of window space to capture the attention of both pedestrians and passing traffic.
The concept of Hexham Spaces is a brilliant way of “bringing back to life” the empty shop premises in the town. Whilst in an ideal world we would all like to see thriving shops and businesses in our wonderful town centre, the Hexham Spaces team have helped to improve the face of Hexham and increase footfall in the town centre whilst helping local charities and other organisations to promote themselves and the events that they are running for the benefit of the local community.
We will certainly be contacting Patricia for assistance in promoting the September 2020 programme, and would like to thank Hexham Spaces for their support and the wonderful job they are doing in keeping the town “alive”. If you want to make Hexham a thriving, enjoyable and vibrant place to shop, please support our local businesses. Remember - “Use them or lose them” !
